HENAR Foundation was established to contribute to transformation of healthcare ecosystem in Armenia by creating and empowering a network of partners to deliver effectively and sustainably better value, better care, and ultimately better health for current and future generations of Armenians.

With a focus on talent development, we are committed to enhancing the creation and cultivation of healthcare professionals. We seek to ensure a steady supply of qualified employees, thereby bolstering the capacity and effectiveness of the healthcare workforce.
HENAR prioritizes digital transformation in healthcare, advocating for the development of digital enablers. We aim to facilitate equal access to healthcare services and support the sector’s continued growth, driving innovation and efficiency in healthcare delivery.

Types of Interventions

  • Policy Making
    HENAR actively engages in policy making by developing comprehensive recommendations on policy frameworks, regulatory changes, and action plans necessary to drive impactful initiatives within our focus areas. Additionally, we support the implementation of Public-Private Partnership frameworks to foster collaboration and maximize the effectiveness of our interventions.
  • Development & Innovation
    We conceptualize and develop new initiatives while also proposing enhancements to existing arrangements. We prepare business cases to attract donors and investors, fundraise for delivering the projects, and secure partnerships vital to project success. Furthermore, we serve as a Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring seamless project implementation and delivery.
  • Partnership Brokerage
    Building and nurturing collaborations with key stakeholders are central to our mission. We actively broker partnerships, including with major diaspora organizations in the healthcare domain, by defining and institutionalizing frameworks for cooperation. Through strategic partnerships, we amplify our impact and reach in addressing critical healthcare challenges.

    Engaging in structured advisory roles, our foundation provides invaluable insights and guidance on key topics to accelerate changes in healthcare in Armenia. Leveraging our expertise and experience, we contribute to informed decision-making processes and facilitate the adoption of innovative solutions to address healthcare needs effectively.
