The project's objective is to enhance access to primary healthcare services for residents in rural communities in Martuni, Martakert, and Askeran regions of Artsakh.

Through the launch of mobile medical services, the initiative aims to make healthcare services more accessible in rural areas.

As per the schedule presented by the Artsakh Ministry of Health, the medical unites will move aroun d the communities to provide therapeutic services, carry out general screening examinations, and identify, manage, and control common infectious and non-infectious diseases. Moreover, the modern equipment installed in the mobile units will enable them to provide additional medical services, including laboratory tests, to the population.

To participate in the program, family doctors underwent specialized professional training between January and April 2023. This initiative will make a significant difference in the lives of rural residents, providing them with the necessary access to primary healthcare services.
